Elon Musk Implements “Temporary Limits” on Twitter

Later, Elon Musk, the successful entrepreneur and CEO of SpaceX, confirmed that Twitter was implementing “temporary limits” on the number of posts users can view each day. In a tweet, Musk stated that verified accounts would be limited to reading 6,000 posts per day, unverified accounts to 600 posts per day, and new unverified accounts to 300 posts per day.

Musk explained that these measures were designed to address “extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation.” While these limits may help combat issues like data scraping and manipulation, they also restrict users‘ ability to engage with content and access the latest updates on the platform.
