StarkFresh opens new Alliance grocery location, aiming to serve an impoverished area

The new StarkFresh grocery store is situated inside The Alliance Commons, which was previously the Alliance Neighborhood Center. The store aims to address a significant gap in the community’s access to fresh food, as the north section of the city has been without a full-service grocery store for almost four years. This absence has resulted in limited options for residents to procure nutritious food, exacerbating the challenges faced by those already struggling with poverty.
