Film Review: Extraction 2 – A Cynical Cash Grab
A Brief Overview
Netflix’s Extraction franchise welcomes back Chris Hemsworth as the tough guy mercenary, Tyler Rake, in Extraction 2. Suffering from a seemingly fatal end in the previous film, Rake miraculously survives and is now on a mission to save his ex-wife’s sister and her children from an abusive mob-boss husband. While the first Extraction film was entertaining, this sequel appears to be more focused on extracting cash rather than delivering a compelling story.
