Beloved Commander Tom Jolls Passes Away

Commander Tom, also known as Tom Jolls, passed away at the age of 89 while surrounded by his family at Buffalo Hospice in Cheektowaga. His more than three-decade career as a weatherman on WKBW brought joy and warmth to Canadian viewers for generations. Jolls started his career on WKBW in 1965 and retired in 1999. In addition to his role as a weatherman, he also hosted The Commander Tom Show, a popular program for children.
