Carlee Russell, a Black female, stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and white Nike shoes. Living in close proximity to her parents in Hoover, the shock of her disappearance is compounded by the fact that she vanished just minutes away from her family home.

On Thursday night, Carlee Russell made a routine stop at Taziki’s at the Colonnade at 9 p.m. to pick up food for herself and her mother. It was during her journey back home that she made a fateful 911 call to report a child walking alone on the side of I-459 between the flyover to the Galleria and Highway 150.
